Importance of Alexa

Alexa rankings are the rankings which are given to every active site on web by a site called www.alexa.com but the matter of fact is that it doesn’t rank itself because of some uncertain reasons. Now let me come to the point of discussion, I have heard many of us saying that Alexa don’t matter for them. Is that true? I mean do you agree with this statement, I hope not because Alexa matters! In this post I am going to discuss a few things which will ultimately change our way of thinking, only if it is against Alexa.The things which shows Alexa ranking matters are –

• It gives assurance to the advertisers and your site’s readers or visitors that your site is secure to surf not only this Alexa reflects the quality of your site – Alexa reflects your site’s traffic and genuinity!
• Alexa can be used as a tool to compare your website with your competitor(s) website.
• The lesser your Alexa will be the more sponsors you will get which will eventually help you in earning thousands of dollars.
• Alexa also helps in SEO or Search Engine Optimization.

Although I think I have convinced you to come to the point that Alexa is important, I would also like to tell you one of its biggest disadvantages. It is, Alexa ranking is never accurate so if your site is having a good stand in Alexa then don’t get totally dependent on it, try maintaining it.
